Translation Grant
$5,000 of in-kind translation for programs supporting ethnic communities
viaLanguage’s Translation Grant is a unique in-kind donation program awarding $5000 in translations to an organization that shares our philosophy of improving healthcare access for ethnic communities. The award can be used for translation services in over 50 different languages to support a variety of healthcare and language access programs, including health education, disaster relief services, voluntarism/community outreach, youth advocacy programs and more. Through this grant, viaLanguage aspires to help an innovative healthcare organization improve the health and access to healthcare of underserved, ethnic communities.

2009 Grant Recipient: Bridgeport Hospital
Bridgeport Hospital is a private, not-for-profit acute care hospital located in Connecticut’s most populous city and serving a large, limited English proficiency (LEP) population.
