It provides enhanced translation matching and provides the maximum available levels of translation re-use. Using completely open standards and compatible with third party solutions, the Memory Bank allows viaLanguage clients to move away from existing proprietary translation memory solutions.

viaLanguage can import existing translation memories if available into the viaLanguage Memory Bank™ for immediate use, and can also create translation memories from pairs of previously translated documents. viaLanguage can export the translation memory at any time to the open format, ensuring that you are never locked into a proprietary translation memory format.
