L10N engineer

viaLanguage seeks a motivated engineer who can provide technical support and some project management throughout the software localization cycle. You must be detail oriented, organized and able to analyze software project requirements, prepare localization kits and conduct multiple engineering tasks. You will evaluate, compile, resize, format, test and support a wide variety of client requirements with multiple applications. Information Science degree, MSVC/C++, VB, Java, Web and/or UI experience required. Localization/Globalization or international testing experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills needed. Double-byte enabling experience and multilingual ability a plus. Sales Executive – Northern California

If you have three or more years of selling experience to corporate marketing, web or engineering departments, a mild-to-passionate interest in languages and culture, and a drive to succeed, then this is a job for you! Translators and Proofreaders

As part of our continuing effort to build teams of quality-oriented professional linguists (individuals or agencies), we are interested in hearing from contractors with at least three to five years of proven professional translation experience. We expect high-speed Internet access, good skills in Microsoft Office, and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. We also value expertise using CAT tools such as Trados and SDLX, and applications such as Acrobat, FrameMaker, QuarkXPress and HTML/XML editors.
